The long serving general secretary of South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Anwarul Haque Helal of Bangladesh resigned from the hot seat of the regional football.
Experienced football organizer Helal, who renewed his contract as the SAFF general secretary early this year, suddenly resigned from the post showing personal reasons.

Helal, who submitted his resignation letter on February 28 and which will be effective from the first day of April this year.
