Tier-1:
Dhaka vs Rangpur:
Dhaka won the toss and opted to bat first to score 312 runs for 4 in 90 overs when the bails were drawn on the first day.
Going to bat, Dhaka made a good start scoring 66 runs in the first wicket stand with Rony Talukder contributing 65 runs and Abdul Mazid 17 runs.
After losing the 2nd wicket within 99 runs, Saif Hassan pairing with Raqibul Hasan contributed 127 runs in the third wicket stand.
Before retiring hurt, one down Saif added 120 runs off 173 deliveries featuring 13 fours and three sixes while number four Raqibul scored 57 off 93 balls hitting eight boundaries.
Shuvagata Hom and Sumon Khan remained unbeaten on 8 and 2 runs respectively.
Sohrawordi Shuvo bagged two Dhaka wickets for 80 runs while and Robiul Haque and Mahmudul Hasan scalped one wicket each.
Rajshahi vs Khulna:
Sent in to bat first in other Tier-1 match at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna, Rajshahi Division posted 261 for all in 85.3 overs against hosts Khulna Division when the umpires pulled off the stumps on day-1.
Junaid Siddique scored 51 runs, Farhad Hossain made 45 runs and Farhad Reza posted 41 for Rajshahi.
National spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz took four wickets for 38 runs while national bowlers Mustafizur Rahman and Rubel Hossain bagged two wickets each.
Tier-2
Dhaka Metro vs Sylhet:
In Tier- 2 match, sent in to bat first, Dhaka Metro scored 246 all-out in 83.4 overs in the first innings against Sylhet Division at Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogura.
National all-rounder Mahmudullah Riyad hit 63 runs off 108 balls hitting eight fours while Shahidul Islam scored 54 off 92 balls with five fours and one six.
Right-arm pacer Rejaur Rahman scalped four wickets conceding 75 runs in 19 overs. Two seasoned spinners of Sylhet- Alok Kapali and Enamul Haque Jr. - took two wickets each.
In reply, Sylhet scored 5 for 1 in four overs at the end of the first day. Enamul Hauqe and Zakir Hasan remained unbeaten on 4 and 0 respectively.
Chattogram vs Barishal:
In the other Tier-2 match at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah, Chattogram Division made a good start scoring 261 runs for 4 in 90 overs at the end of day-1.
Irfan Sukkur, Yasir Ali and Mahidul Islam Ankon hit half centuries for Chattogram. Irfan fell for 57 while Yasir and Mahidul remained unbeaten on 68 and 69 at the end of the day.
Monir Hossain of Barishal took two wickets.
