In the day’s goal fest semi-final, Lee Tuck scored his 2nd hat-trick in the tournament, with all 3 goals from set-pieces while midfielder Syafik Bin Ismail netted the other one for the Malaysian Club while Spanish midfielder Francisco Javier netted both the goals for Mohun Bagan AC.
Earlier, Lee Tuck made his first hat-trick in the ongoing meet scoring three goals in their last group match against BPL champions Bashundhara Kings last Saturday.
Traditional Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan AC dominated over Terengganu FC from the very beginning with their attacking football and created some good chances, but failed to convert any of those.
Terengganu FC also made several good attempts but all of those were denied by Mohun Bagan defenders.
In the 37th minute, Terengganu got a chance to break the deadlock as their Brazilian forward Bruno Suzuki Castanheira fired the net by a long range shot but referee disallowed the goal.

After half time, Spanish midfielder Francisco Javier leveled the margin for Mohun Bagan AC converting a penalty in the 47th minute (1-1).
Terengganu defender Hafizal Alias tackled roughly Mohun Bagan’s midfielder Britto Pankras Mettilda in the danger zone and referee awarded a penalty in favour of Mohun Bagan AC.
In the 59th minute, Lee Tuck put Malaysian Club ahead by an another long-range free-kick outside from the danger zone (2-1).
Just after two minutes, Francisco Javier again leveled the margin for the Kolkata giants by a header, off a long-range free-kick by Joseba Beitia (2-2).
Both teams continued their attacking football and tried to take lead but Terengganu midfielder Syafik finally broke the lock for his side with a close-range left-footer from a counter-attack in the 74th minute (3-2).
In the 79th minute, Lee Tuck completed his hat-trick and widened the margin for Terengganu converting a penalty as Mohun Bagan goalkeeper Debjit Majumder blocked Bruno Suzuki illegally inside the box (4-2).
Mohun Bagan got a chance to reduce the margin but a close-range header by substitute forward Salvador Martinez from goalmouth melee was smartly denied by Malaysian goalkeeper Ilham Amirullah Bin Razali in the 81st minute.
