While Tamim will reesent Lahore Qalandars in PSL, Mahmudullah will play for Multan Sultans. Both Tamim and Mahmudullah had earlier participated in PSL as well.
“It's an honour to play in the HBL PSL. Cricket is being played very differently this year and I hope to play a part in bringing smiles to the faces of our fans,” a Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) media release reads quoting Mahmudullah.
“I can't wait to be back at the HBL PSL. Lahore Qalandars have had an amazing journey and I want to help our team win the trophy this year,” Tamim was also quoted saying.
The PSL authorities have roped in Tamim and Mahmudullah for the playoffs matches only, which will be played between November 14 and 17.
This year’s PSL was halted in mid-March due to the deadly outbreak of Covid-19. However, since the situation is better now, the PCB decided to resume their only premium T20 league.
