Opener BG Charlesworth hammered the team highest 68 runs off 103 balls, hitting six fours and one six, LP Goldworthy contributed 51-ball 36 runs, featuring one six, FJ Bean scored 36 runs off 47 balls featuring two boundaries while captain GCH Hill made 33-ball 30 runs with two fours.
Mrittunjoy Chowdhury grabbed four English wickets for 52 runs, Tanzim Hasan Shakib claimed two wickets for 42 runs while Rakibul Hasan took one for 32 runs.
The 3rd match of the tourney between Bangladesh Under-19 team and Indian U-19 team was washed out without a single ball being bowled due to rain on Saturday and both the teams shared one point each.
Bangladesh U-19 team remained at the 2nd slot in the point table of the tournament securing 3 points from three matches, India U-19 team topped the list securing 5 points from four matches while hosts England U-19 side were in the bottom with 2 points from three encounters.
Earlier, Bangladesh U-19 side made a good start thrashing hosts England U-19 by 6 wickets in their first match at New Road in Worcester on July 22, but in the 2nd match, the Bangladesh conceded 35-run defeat to India at the same venue on July 24.
All the three teams will play each other four times and later the top two teams will play in the final on August 11.
In the remaining matches, Young Tigers will face India on July 30 and August 5, England on August 1 and 7.
