Bangladesh have included Soumya Sarkar in their playing XI. The left-handed batter last played a T20I back in November 2021 against Australia. To pave the way for his inclusion, Mehidy Hasan Miraz has been rested.
Taskin Ahmed and Hasan Mahmud are also replaced by Mohammad Saifuddin and Ebadot Hossain, respectively.
For New Zealand, Martin Guptill, Trent Boult and Adam Milne have replaced Kane Williamson, Blair Tickner and Mitchell Santner, respectively.
