Bangladesh have made three changes to their playing XI for this Test match.
The host dropped Mustafizur Rahman, who was the only pacer in their playing XI in Chattogram, to pave the way for Abu Jayed Rahi. It means Bangladesh are playing this game with one specialist pace-bowler again. However, Soumya may play the role of the second pacer.
Bangladesh also included Soumya Sarkar and Mohammad Mithun to replace Shadman Islam and Shakib Al Hasan — both of them have been ruled out due to injuries.
West Indies have also made a change to their playing XI— they brought in Alzarri Joseph for Kemar Roach.

In the first game of the series, Bangladesh lost by three wickets as Kyle Mayers, the West Indian debutant, hit a record-breaking double-ton in Chattogram. On the last day of the first Test, Bangladesh needed to defend 285 runs to draw the game or seven wickets for a win. Bangladesh failed to do so.
