Bangladesh U-21 Women’s Hockey team, now preparing for their maiden participation in the Women’s Junior (U-21) AHF Cup Hockey Qualifiers in Singapore from September 9–15, played to a 1-1 draw in the first half of the day’s match.
Junaiya Ferdous put Bangladesh ahead in the very the 9th minute from a penalty corner. Lotia Marry scored two successive goals in the 11th and 43rd minutes for Sports Authority of India’s (SAI) National Academy to maintain their all win record.
The 6th and last match of the series will be held on Wednesday (August 28) at 4 pm at the same venue.
Earlier, Bangladesh Women’s Hockey team conceded 0-6 each goals defeat in their first two matches, 0-3 goals defeat in the 3rd match and 3-9 goals defeats in the 4th match against the visiting Indian team at the same venue.
