Until now, the major Bangladeshi electronics and smartphone company Walton has been presenting only low-budget phones so that people can afford better phones at a lower price. Even it's one of the most renowned series Walton Primo hasn't surmount the lower-mid budget range. But as it seems, the company has finally come out breaking that price shell by releasing the latest Walton Primo ZX4. The phone got released on different online eCommerce platforms before in May 2021. However, the official country-wide release was on 31st July 2021.
Walton Primo ZX4 Full Review
Design
A unique and amazing design has been revealed by Walton with the Primo ZX4 release. It maintains a 157.05 × 76.44 × 8.5 nm dimension. For the body build-up, Walton has used glass for the front and aluminum for the frame. The entire phone weighs 172g which is lighter than many other same-sized phones.
The back of the phone has a giant 5 lens camera module which also rooms LED flash. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the phone's left, along with a volume rocker over the sensor. A dual SIM-supported tray has been placed on the right side of the phone. Apart from them, a thin punch hole camera housing is on the center top of the phone that enhances the overall design aspect. Users will get the phone in three color variants- Black, Blue, and Green.

Display
OnePlus has employed a huge 6.67-inches full HD LTPS dot-in infinity display that is pretty common in mid-range phones. It has featured a 1,080 x 2,400 resolution, with an average aspect ratio of 19.5:9. In terms of the viewing experience, the Walton Primo ZX4 has added a few special tweaks to its video presenting quality. The bezel and chin areas are comparatively average in thickness. Around 83.5% of the body ratio is the screen.
The display is strong in brightness level. It doesn’t go dark in broad daylight even if the brightness level is set to its half power. The viewing angle is also good. The display has a 16M colors profiling capacity with around 395 PPI density. It results in a vivid visual delivery. The enormous display size combined with all these features will surely satisfy users’ demand.

Primary Camera
Something that the smartphone community has never seen before has been delivered from Walton. A giant 5-lens setup is given to ensure extraordinary picture quality. The primary camera is a 64MP Sony IMX682 lens. The other four lenses are- an 8MP ultrawide, a 5MP macro, a 2 MP depth, and a 2 MP telephoto lenses. To accompany them in low-light situations, a dual-LED flashlight is there.
The camera setup supports the panoramic view, HDR, Expert, and portrait mode. Based on all these features, it can be said that Walton has given its best effort to bring delicacy and elegance to the cameras of Primo ZX4.
All the lenses work best in a brighter environment. Details and color rasterization capacity of all lenses are appreciable. The overall quality of close or long shot images is above average, thanks to the assisting lenses. In low light conditions, some missing details and noises can appear on the images. Otherwise, Walton’s effort is laudable. Users will have a video recording capacity of 1080p at 30fps.

Front Camera
The lens used as the front camera is a 32 MP wide one. It is housed in the trifling punch hole on the top of the display. 32 MP lens as the selfie camera has become a norm in the mid-range smartphone market. But as the first attempt from Walton to enter the specific zone, it is considered fair.
Portrait mode is efficient, at least enough to produce detailed images. Though the sharpness and highlighting could be a bit better, yet none can complain about the lens. This camera, too, performs better in bright areas than low-light environments.

Performance, Hardware, and UI
The good news is, unlike many other phones, Walton Primo ZX4 is Android 11 based. That enhances the customizability and theme preferences for the phone. As a chipset, users will get the MediaTek Helio G95 SoC octa-core processor that can achieve up to 2.05 GHz clock speed. To support the processor for graphical elements, an ARM Mali – G76 MC4 has been installed in the phone. A pretty similar setup was given in the Xiaomi Note 8 smartphone, which was one of the top sales at its time.
The Walton ZX4 has been released only in one variation with 8GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage capacity. Here you get UFS 2.1 data transfer technology. Not to mention, the adequate RAM capacity will accelerate the performance of the processor of this latest Walton Smartphone.

The processor and the GPU are both powerful in respect of game playing capacity. High configuration games will run smoothly while giving less or no lag at all. With a medium-resolution setup, users can get a more satisfactory gaming experience.
Among other features, users will get a USB Type-C port, face-unlock capacity, and sensors like ambient, light, proximity, acceleration, and gyroscope.
Battery and Charging
A non-removable lithium-polymer 4000mAh battery has come with the phone. It might give an impression of a lack of battery support. However, the small battery is to keep the phone's weight below a tolerable level. A fast 18W charger is given to charge the phone. While the battery can provide almost one day of support to regular users, the charger takes 4 to 5 hours to charge the phone to its fullest.

Walton Primo ZX4s Price in Bangladesh
The Walton ZX4 has been released only in one variation. For 8GB × 128 GB RAM and ROM capacity, the phone officially charges only BDT 26,999 right now.
Final Verdict
Altogether the Walton ZX4 is a great attempt to capture the mid-range phone users from Walton. Most of the features are aligned with consumer expectations, especially the MediaTek processor, Mali GPU, and the latest Android incorporation. However, a super AMOLED display instead of the LTPS FHD would be more welcoming. The phone would be the right choice for the people who want to use native products and have an inclination to Walton.
