Since its establishment in 1935, the school has earned widespread recognition in society for its rich educational tradition and outstanding teaching accomplishments.

On Friday, some journalists from Asia-Pacific countries visited the school's main campus as part of an organized program by the China International Press Communication Center (CIPCC), under the China Public Diplomacy Association (CPDA).

This visit provided compelling evidence that China's education system is actively committed to fostering holistic development.

At the very beginning of the visit, journalists were introduced to the striking sculpture titled "Long Live Youth," which embodies the core essence of youth—vitality, dreams, and growth.

The creation of this sculpture aims to inspire students of the school to cherish their youth and approach learning and life with a positive attitude.

The school is equipped with modern facilities, including a spacious sports center, a science and technology center, and, most importantly, a psychological resource center.

"We not only focus on academic studies but also prioritize physical and mental health, ensuring that students become well-rounded individuals with good physical well-being," one of the teachers told journalists.

The core philosophy of the Psychological Resource Center is "Prevention, Intervention, and Development." "We believe in proactively building resilience, providing timely support when needed, and fostering continuous personal growth," said Chen Xuan, a psychology teacher of the school.

She added that the Psychological Resource Center is equipped with various specialized rooms, including a Behavioral Adjustment Room and an Adolescent Health Station, designed to address diverse student needs.

When asked how students cope with learning English, given that it is not their first language, one of the English teachers explained, "We utilize a variety of teaching materials and policies to make English learning easier for students. The most challenging aspects are listening and speaking, so beyond textbooks, we incorporate digital technology and seek assistance from AI to support their listening and speaking skills even after school."

She added, "We also offer specialized courses to improve English proficiency."

She also mentioned, "Our goal is to provide a real and interactive practicing environment. We organize trips to other cities and design brochures with tasks for students to complete during their journeys. Essentially, we are integrating language learning with culture, entertainment, and technology to make the process engaging and effective."

Regarding student satisfaction with the teaching process, she mentioned, "Though learning English can be challenging for them, they are happy to put in the effort, and I can see their progress."

In addition, Jinfan Concert Hall serves as a vital hub for the school's art education and provides a high-quality stage for showcasing students' artistic talents. 

The concert hall aims to "cultivate artistic sentiment and enhance aesthetic literacy," offering teachers and students access to professional musical performances, rehearsals, and artistic exchanges. It stands as a landmark venue for the school's aesthetic education initiatives.
