Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made it clear that Gaza and Israel will not return to the situation prior to Oct. 7, 2023-the day Hamas-led fighters attacked southern Israel and Israel began its genocidal war on Gaza.
In a statement published by his office, Netanyahu warned that he will intensify military attacks on areas in Gaza where operations are being carried out against Israeli forces. He also said that Israel will order the forced displacement of Palestinians from territories in Gaza used to launch drones, balloons and kites.
"We warn Hamas that if the launches toward Israel do not cease immediately, the [Israeli army] will intensify its operations against those responsible," Netanyahu said.
