The Indonesian government on Monday announced 185 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections in the archipelagic country to 6,760.
At a press conference, the government's spokesperson for the COVID-19-related matters Achmad Yurianto said there were also eight new deaths, taking the total number of fatalities to 590.
Meanwhile, as many as 61 more people have been discharged from hospitals after recoveries, taking the total number of recovered patients to 747.
