The Israeli military and the Shin Bet security agency said they destroyed five Hamas weapons depots across the Gaza Strip during overnight operations.
According to the Israeli army, one of the targeted depots was located adjacent to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir el-Balah. It alleged that the sites were being used by Hamas to store assault rifles, explosive devices, anti-tank launchers and other military equipment.
The hospital administration and Gaza authorities, however, disputed the claim, saying the targeted facilities were being used to store the hospital's medical supplies.
