Israeli aircraft conducted two strikes on the southern Lebanese village of Kfar Rumman early Monday, leaving at least nine people dead, including women and children, according to Lebanon’s Health Ministry.
The ministry reported that one strike struck a building, killing eight people, among them a child and two women. Eleven others were injured, including four children and two women.
A second airstrike targeted a vehicle in the village, killing a paramedic affiliated with the Lebanese Islamic Risala Scout Association and injuring two other people.
The attacks occurred as tensions between Israel and Hezbollah intensified, marking another escalation in the ongoing conflict.
