Police have arrested 19 leaders and activists of BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami in different areas of Chuadanga district.
They were arrested in drives in different parts of the district on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

Seven bomb-like objects were recovered from their possession.
The arrestees were sent to jail through a court on Wednesday.

Acting on a tip-off about a planned sabotage, 11 people were arrested from Enayetpur School ground, said Alamdanga Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Biplob Kumar Nath.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Darshana Police Station Ferdous Wahid said seven bomblike objects were recovered from the possession of the arrestees, which are believed to have been kept for sabotage purposes.
