Navy Support Unit Instructor Lt Commander and Senior Medical Officer Dr Md Nurul Mostafa led the eight members medical team that treated 1,500 cyclone-affected destitute with free drugs at Monder Bazar, Shilarchar, Khaskandi and Masjidkandi.
Bangladesh Coastguard also arranged two separate medical teams in the same area in order to treat cyclone-affected people with free medicines at the Union Parishad Complex premises of the same upazila.
Medical Officer Sgt Dr Fahad Bin Kabir led the ten-member medical expedition of the CG and treated about 500 destitute with free drugs of the areas.
Civil Surgeon Chandpur Dr Mahbubur Rahman and his officials and local UP Chairman Hazrat Ali Bepari also extended full cooperation to make these medical camps successful.
