As many as 22 more Covid patients have died at Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH) in the past 24 hours, officials said on Thursday.
Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani said that of the deceased, 10 were from Rajshahi district, six from Natore, two from Naogaon and four from Pabna district.

Some 389 people died of Covid-19 at the corona unit of RMCH from July 1 to 22.
"Meanwhile, 210 people have tested positive for corona at the hospital during the 24-hour period. Some 437 samples were tested in two laboratories of the district during the period," the director said.

The positivity rate currently stands at 37.50%, which was 34.04% a day before.
Besides, 31 more people have been admitted to the Rajshahi hospital with Covid symptoms in the past 24 hours. Currently, 434 patients are undergoing treatment at the 513-bed hospital.
