The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Tuesday arrested 33 people for their alleged involvement in sabotage and violence in different parts of the country.
So far, the elite force has arrested a total of 426 people involved in violence and sabotage since October 28, according to a press release sent from RAB headquarters on Tuesday.

The arrests were made in connection with vehicle vandalism, arson, and sabotage incidents that have taken place in different parts of the country.
On November 14, 2023, RAB forces raided the New Market area of the capital and arrested Mahdi Islam Babu, joint convener of Gajaria Upazila Jubo Dal and former president of Upazila Chhatra Dal, and Anisur Rahman, president of Kalukhali Upazila Jubo Dal, from Rajbari Sadar area.
Ariful Islam, convener of Rajbari district Chhatra Dal, and Mahbub, former president of Swechchhasebak Dal, were arrested from the Harirampur area of Manikganj district, according to the RAB press release.
