A 5-year old has been allegedly murdered after rape in Chandgaon police station area of Chattogram on Sunday.
Police have detained four people for questioning in this connection.

According to locals, informed of her daughter going missing, the mother of the child rushed home from the factory she works in.
She found the blood stained body of her child lying under the bed of her own home, they said.

Officer-in-Charge of Chandgaon police station said, the body has been recovered and samples have been collected by CID officials.
CID officials said, they are suspecting the child was strangled to death after rape, after examining the injury marks on her body.
