Biman’s brand new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner ‘Achin Pakhi’ arrived here on Tuesday night from Seattle, USA.
The aircraft, which left Boeing Everett Delivery Center at 2:30pm (local time) on Tuesday, landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 8:19 pm, said Tasnim Akhtar, public relations manager of Biman.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina named the Dreamliner.
Biman’s first and second Dreamliner – "Akash Beena" and "Hangsabalaka" – arrived in August, and December last year. The third one – "Gaangchil" – arrived in July, fourth one, "Rajhanso"’, in September and fifth one, “Sonar Tori” in December this year.
