A Dhaka court here on Sunday placed an accused of a rape case, on a three-day remand for violating a six-year-old girl in city’s Kadamtali area.
Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Hakim Baki Billah passed the order when police produced him before the court in the morning.
The accused is identified as Tutul, 20, a resident of Muradnagar area.

Shah Alam, assistant police commissioner of Shyampur zone, said Tutul used to go to his grandfather’s house in Kadamtali area. On April 25, Tutul violated a six-year-old girl there and went into hiding.
Victim’s father filed a case in this connection with Kadamtali Police Station.
After getting complaint, a team of Kadamtali Police arrested Tutul from Muradnagar area on Friday night.
