Anisur Rahman, judge of Narayanganj district and judge's court, passed the order after hearing a bail petition, said Khalilur lawyer advocate Abdul Latif Miah. Khalilur is the first to receive bail, of the 3 accused in the case that continues to stand, if only to complete courtroom formalities
The court also fixed September 7 for hearing on bail petitions filed by two other accused, Abdullah and Rakib.
The schoolgirl went missing on July 4 and her father filed a case over the matter on July 17.
Later, police arrested Abdullah, 22, and his friend Rakib, 19, after the victim's father filed an abduction case on August 6 accusing them.
Two days later Khalil, 36, a boatman of Bandar upazila was arrested in the case.
On August 9, police said the trio confessed to the rape and murder of the victim, and even that the body was thrown into the river.

On August 23, the victim was found unharmed in Nabiganj area of Bandar.
SI Shamim Al Mamun, also investigation officer of the case, was suspended over the incident.
