Bangladesh Ambassador to Thailand Faiyaz Murshid Kazi paid a farewell call on Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana, executive secretary of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), at its Secretariat in Bangkok on Friday.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on regional and global developments, the importance of multilateral cooperation, and the role of ESCAP in addressing common challenges, particularly for Asia-Pacific countries.
The ESCAP executive secretary expressed appreciation for Ambassador Faiyaz Murshid’s leadership and contribution to advancing regional cooperation and sustainable development across the Asia-Pacific region.
