Dhaka, Oct 3 (UNB) - Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) has asked all banks and financial institutions to send in information related to the bank accounts of Jubo League Chairman Omar Faroque Chowdhury within three working days.
It made the instruction in a common letter sent to all banks and financial institutions on Thursday.
The BFIU also asked them to send information about accounts where his interest is involved as per his national identity card.
Earlier, Bangladesh Bank froze the bank accounts of Omar Faruque and some other top Jubo League leaders after the crackdown was launched against casinos.
