BNP Vice Chairman Barkatullah Bulu has been infected with coronavirus.
Talking to UNB, Bulu said he underwent the Covid-19 test on Thursday and his report came out positive.
The BNP leader said he has been suffering from coughing and sneezing for the last few days. “I’ve been receiving treatment as per doctor’s advice staying in isolation.”
He urged all to pray for his speedy recovery.

Bulu said he was supposed to join a rally of their party in Noakhali, but he is now unable to go there due to the Covid infection. “I’m giving the local leaders and activists necessary directions over the phone to make the programme a success.”
As part of their countrywide programmes, Noakhali district unit BNP has organised the rally demanding party chairperson Khaleda Zia’s treatment abroad.
