"We’re very conscious that a lot of our community in Bangladesh are concerned about supply of medication. We’ve checked with pharmacies in Dhaka and Sylhet. Those pharmacies are open and stocks are good. So for most medications you should be able to source what you need locally," he said in a video message.
On the next phase of chartered flights taking British visitors from Bangladesh home to the UK, the High Commissioner said they will have many more home in the UK in the coming days.
The High Commission, on Sunday, announced five more chartered flights over the next ten days.
The flights will be operated from Dhaka to London on April 29, May 1, May 3, May 5 and May 7.
So far four special flights left Dhaka for London.
The High Commissioner said as before, they are prioritising the most vulnerable members of the community for space on these flights.
