“Among the total cases, 5,855 policemen have made full recovery so far,” said sources at the Police Headquarters.
Most of the recovered policemen joined their respective duty stations, the sources added.
Among the total infections, 2,232 policemen are attached to Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) alone, said the sources.
The sources also informed that 10,861 policemen were sent to quarantine while 4,177 cops have been undergoing treatment in isolations.

The sources also informed that 38 cops have so far died of Covid-19.
Bangladesh has so far reported 133,978 coronavirus cases and 1,695 deaths.
Health authorities on Saturday reported 3,504 new Covid-19 cases and 34 deaths in the last 24 hours until Saturday morning.
