The Council of Advisers on Monday approved the revised the national budget for 2024-25, the proposed national budget for the fiscal year 2025-26 and the Finance Bill 2025-2026
Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus chaired the special meeting held at the Chief Adviser’s Office.
Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed and other advisers attended the meeting.
The Finance Adviser will present the national budget for the fiscal year 2025-2026 at 3:00 pm on Monday, an hour earlier than the previous 4 pm schedule.
The change in schedule was confirmed in an official statement issued by the Ministry of Finance.
According to the notice, the national budget speech will be broadcast live on Bangladesh Television (BTV).
