A motorcyclist and his wife were killed as a train hit their vehicle on Dodangi level crossing in Lokmanpur area of Natore's Bagatipara upazila on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Mofijul Islam, 45, and his wife Sabina Begum, 40, of Jamnagar village in the upazila.

Ziauddin, assistant station master of Abdulpur railway station, said Mofijul along with his wife were returning from his father-in-law's house at Maria village.
The Rajshahi-bound Tungipara Express train hit the motorcycle on the Dodangi level crossing around 1:30 pm when they were trying to cross the rail tracks, leaving them dead on the spot, he added.
