Train communication from Dhaka with other parts of the country remained suspended for half an hour as a crane fell on a rail track from Dhaka Elevated Expressway at Tejgaon in the capital on Saturday.
However, no casualty was reported.
Sub-inspector Sunil, in-charge of Airport Railway Police outpost, said the crane, used for work on Dhaka Elevated Expressway project, fell on a rail track on Moghbazar-Tejgaon up line rail route around 7 pm, halting train movement of Dhaka with other parts of the country.
However, the train movement resumed after half an hour after the removal of the crane from the rail track, he said.
