Dinajpur, Oct 10 (UNB) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested an alleged criminal along with a firearm at Gobindapur village in Sadar upazila on Thursday.
The arrestee was identified as Majedur Rahman 45, son of Mobarak Ali of South Gobindapur village in the upazila.
Tipped off, a team of Rab-13 conducted a drive in the village and arrested Majedur along with a shutter gun, said acting Company Commander of Rab-13 Siddique Ahmed.
He was wanted in a number of criminal cases, said Rab.
