The final day of REHAB Fair 2025, the largest event in the real estate sector, witnessed a massive influx of visitors and potential buyers on Saturday (December 27).
The REHAB Fair- 2025 is being held at the China-Maitree Conference Center in Agargaon.
On Saturday, the last day of the fair witnessed a crowd swell presence significantly by the afternoon as families arrived to explore housing options.
Despite the city’s typical traffic and busy schedules, eager buyers flocked to the stalls to seize last-minute opportunities. Most visitors were seen hunting for affordable flats within their budget, while others sought information on land plots for future investments.
Kishoara Pervin, a resident of Lalmatia who visited the fair, said, "Since it’s the final day, I am trying to make a decision today. I have visited several projects, and if my family agrees, I intend to complete a booking before leaving."
The stalls of various developer (Flat builders) companies remained vibrant with activity. Representatives were seen busy providing detailed information regarding project locations, pricing, installment facilities, and the special discounts offered exclusively for the fair.
There was a notable surge in interest specifically for small and medium-sized apartments.
Liakat Ali Bhuiyan, Vice President of the Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB), expressed satisfaction with the turnout to UNB.
"The presence of visitors on the final day has exceeded our expectations. The crowd is growing as the evening approaches. We are hopeful that a significant number of bookings will be finalized today," he said.
Another visitor, Nasrin Akter from Uttara, highlighted the convenience of the event. "The fair allows us to see many projects under one roof. It makes it much easier to compare prices and available facilities," she noted.
According to the organizers, the rush is expected to continue until the doors close this evening. Many buyers, who had visited earlier in the week to scout options, returned today to finalize their purchases.
REHAB Fair 2025 has served as a vibrant meeting ground for both buyers and developers, providing a much-needed boost to the housing sector.
The five-day mega event is scheduled to conclude on Saturday evening. The fair started on December 24, 2025.
Inaugurating the event, RAJUK Chairman Engineer Md Reazul Islam highlighted the pivotal role of developers in shaping Dhaka’s urban environment. While acknowledging the ongoing market slowdown, he expressed optimism for the future, stating, “Prosperous days will surely return.”
Mosammad Ferdousi Begum, chairman of the National Housing Authority (NHA), stressed the importance of strict adherence to building regulations to ensure safety and sustainable development.
