In a latest reshuffle in the police administration, the government has transferred 15 police officers, including deputy inspector generals (DIGs), additional DIGs and superintendents of police (SPs).

The Home Ministry issued two separate notifications on Tuesday.

According to a notification, Mohammad Enamul Haque, Additional Police Commissioner of Sylhet Metropolitan Police has been transferred as Additional Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police Battalion (APBn) and Specializsd Training Centre, Khagrachhari while Paritosh Ghosh, Deputy Inspector General of APBn and Specialised Training Centre, Khagrachhari was transferred to APBN (Chattogram Hill Tracts) office.

Besides, Habibur Rahman Khan, Deputy Inspector General of the Highway Police has been transferred as commandant of the Traffic and Driving School (TDS) while Additional DIG Anisur Rahman of the Special Branch (SB) was transferred to the Khulna Range.

Meanwhile, Additional DIG Gias Uddin Ahmed, who was serving as an officer on special duty (OSD) at the Home Ministry, has been attached to  Rangpur Range while Mohammad Jashim Uddin Superintendent and serving as an officer on special duty (OSD) at the Home Ministry was appointed as Superintendent of Rajshahi.

Besides, nine more police officers of the Bangladesh Civil Service (Police) cadre have been appointed and transferred to different positions and workplaces, according to a notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The orders will come into effect soon.
