The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Wednesday issued traffic guidelines for the public on paying homage at the Central Shaheed Minar on International Mother Language Day and Martyrs' Day on February 21.
To ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety, DMP instructed visitors to enter the Central Shaheed Minar through Palashi Crossing- Bhaskorjo crossing-Jagannath Hall Crossing and exit via Ramna Crossing-Doyel Chattar after paying their respects, said DMP Assistant Commissioner (AC-media) Jahangir Kabir.

DMP had also set up diversions at key points, including Shahbagh Crossing, Nilkhet Crossing, Shahidullah Hall Crossing, Chankharpul Crossing, Palashi Crossing, and Bakshi Bazar Crossing, to manage traffic and ensure a safe environment for visitors.
DMP had urged everyone to follow the designated routes and cooperate with law enforcement personnel to maintain order during this significant observance.
