The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) has completed the semi-annual rebalancing of its DSE Bangladesh 30 Index (DS30), bringing in three new companies while dropping three others.
According to a press release issued by the DSE on Sunday, the Index Committee carried out the rebalancing in line with the index methodology for July 2026.
The three new entrants to the DS30 are Bangladesh Steel Re-Rolling Mills Limited (BSRMLTD), The ACME Laboratories Limited (ACMELAB), and Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Ltd. (POWERGRID).
Meanwhile, three companies are being excluded from the index: Kohinoor Chemicals Company (Bangladesh) Ltd. (KOHINOOR), Unique Hotel & Resorts PLC (UNIQUEHRL), and Linde Bangladesh Limited (LINDEBD).
The DS30 index, comprising 30 blue-chip companies listed on the DSE, is reviewed twice a year to ensure it reflects the current market capitalisation, liquidity, and trading performance of listed firms.
The revised index composition will come into effect from July 19.
