Vice-Chancellor Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman unveiled an automation software to manage all student activities online. The software was launched at a function in the office of the Controller of Examinations, Bahalul Haque Chowdhury, the university said in a release.
Using this software, the students of the university will be able to complete all the activities, including filling up examination forms online and collecting the examination entry forms. Test results will also be published online.
Students will be able to download their provisional certificate and transcripts online within five working days of publication of results. Each student will have a separate profile on the site, where their personal information, results and other information will be stored.
Also, all halls/departments will be able to view and verify all the information of the students online. Auto Rollsheet Generator can easily perform various activities, including preparation of test results and all statistics related to tests, the release said.
Using the support option, students can share their problems with the varsity authorities and get them resolved.
"The software has been prepared for the digitisation of various activities related to examinations of students of Dhaka University," the VC said at the event attended by the general secretary of the Dhaka University Teachers Association, Nizamul Haque Bhuiyan.
