Dhaka, Oct 2 (UNB) - Dhaka University Vice-chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman will accompany Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina during her four-day official visit to India.
The Prime Minister is set to leave here for New Delhi on Thursday morning to join the World Economic Forum (WEF) Summit and hold meetings with top Indian leaders.
A VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage will depart from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 8am. The flight is scheduled to land at Palam Air Force Station, New Delhi at 10am (local time).
The DU vice-chancellor will return home on October 6.
DU Pro-VC (Academic) Prof Dr Nasreen Ahmad will discharge routine works of the VC during his visit to India in addition to her duties.
