The government has instructed the authorities concerned to reinstate the "except Israel" clause on Bangladeshi passport, reversing a 2021 decision that had removed the words.
Security Services Division of the Home Affairs Ministry issued a letter on April 7 to the director general of the Department of Immigration and Passports to take necessary steps to reinstate the 'except Israel' condition on Bangladeshi passport as was done previously.
