A fire that broke out at a mobil recycling factory in the Tongi area of Gazipur on Saturday afternoon was doused after one and a half hours of efforts.
The blaze erupted around 2:10pm at Eco Tech Limited in the Pubail College Gate area, said Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence.
Three firefighting units from Tongi Fire Station rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control at 2:54pm.
"The fire was doused around 3:40pm with the efforts of the three units," it said.
"No casualties were reported," it said.
The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
