Police arrested four BNP leaders and activists in a case filed over the killing of police constable Parvez during a clash between the party activists and law enforcers on October 28.
The arrestees were MD Imram, 24, a member of Sher-e-Bangla Nagar thana BNP's Amtola unit, Babul Mia, 42; Monir Hossain, 28, and Badal Das, 60, general secretary of the same unit.

GMP Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ibrahim Khan said these at a press briefing held at Gazipur Metropolitan Police headquarters Wednesday morning.
Police said, on Tuesday night DB police of GMP arrested Imran from Laxmipura area in sadar upazila and came to know that other suspects involved in the attack on policemen and the killing of police constable Parvez in Naya Paltan area of Dhaka on October 28 were hiding in different areas of Gazipur metropolitan city.

They arrested the three other accused Based on Imran’s information, examining video footages and pictures on that day.
Police will take legal action against the accused and will send them to court seeking remand, he said.
