Dhaka, Feb 13 (UNB) – The French government has expressed its keen interest to provide support to Bangladesh with modern agricultural technologies including joint research, advanced hybrid crops, food preservation and processing.
France Ambassador to Bangladesh Marie-Annick Bourdin expressed his country’s interest in a meeting with Agriculture Minister Abdur Razzak at the Secretariat on Wednesday.
The Ambassador also showed interests to provide assistance in preserving rain water, dealing with the natural disaster and solar power in Bangladesh.
During the meeting, they also discussed other bilateral issues of the two countries.
Mentioning that Bangladesh has achieved unbelievable success in agriculture sector, the Agriculture Minister said, “We are interested to export agricultural products to France and for this the relation between the two countries will help to boost it.”
