Gazipur, Oct 24 (UNB) – A fire that broke out at a Jhut warehouse in Tongi Millgate area on Thursday morning was put out after much effort.
The origin of the fire could not be known immediately.
Mamunur Rashid, deputy assistant director of Gazipur Fire Service and Civil Defense, said the fire broke out around 5:30am at the Jhut warehouse and spread quickly.
On information, two firefighting units went to the spot and extinguished the blaze after one and a half hours.
No casualty was reported.
