The court also asked what measures would be taken against those who were in charge of security on that day at the Cumilla Additional District and Sessions Judge Court.
The HC bench of Justice FRM Nazmul Ahasan and Justice KM Kamrul Kader gave the oral order during the hearing of writ petition for lawyer security in the court premises.
The court also asked the authorities concerned including state advocate attorney general and officials of law ministry to inform about the measures within July 30 and the court will be adjourned for this time.
“How one can enter into the court premises with knife? It is definitely the irresponsibility of police,” said the court during hearing.
