Men and women of the younger generations on Sunday formed a human chain protesting rape and torture on women and girls.
A number of young girls and boys formed the human chain, organised by Doar and Nawabganj Women Welfare Association, at Nawabganj Upazila Central Shaheed Minar around 2pm.

The protesters also demanded maximum punishment for the rapist, ensuring justice and taking effective measures to prevent torture on women.
They also demanded the safety and security of women of any age.
