Dhaka, Aug 30 (UNB) – A two-day-long international conference on Rohingya refugees will begin at Dhaka University (DU) from Saturday.
Criminology Department of DU will organise the conference titled “Rohingya: Politics, Ethnic Cleansing and Uncertainty” at Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban.
The programme will be inaugurated by DU Vice-chancellor Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman around 2 pm, said a press release.
Former Supreme Court Justice Md Mozammel Hossain will be the chief guest at the programme where representatives from United States, United Kingdom, India, Nepal and Bruny Island will be present.
Foreign Ministry Secretary Md Shahidul Haque will be present on the second day of the conference.
