The accused are Gautam Saha, 50, DGM of Jiban Bima Corporation, Khulna regional office, and three other officials Morsheduzzaman, 35, Kazi Mahabub ur Rahman, 36, and Md Sohel Rana, 37.

Khulna branch in-Charge and Development Manager of the corporation M d Alauddin filed the case with a Khulna Cognisance court while the court directed Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) to investigate the matter.

According to the case statement, Gautam Saha in collusion with the three embezzled huge amount of money through a fake recruitment advertisement.

DGM Gautam and his accomplices also physically assaulted Alauddin when he informed the matter to the DGM.

They had also snatched Tk 30,000 from Alauddin.
