July Mass Uprising Day was observed across Bangladesh on Wednesday with various programmes, including placing wreaths at memorials, holding discussions and rallies, and paying tribute to those who were killed and injured during the historic July Uprising in 2024.
Despite light rain, people from different walks of life, including government and private officials, political and social organisations, teachers, students and ordinary citizens, paid tribute to the martyrs in different parts of the country.
In Dinajpur, government and private officials, political and social organisations, teachers, students and people from various professions placed wreaths at the July martyrs’ memorial at the Gymnasium premises of July Gaur Martyr Ground from the morning.
