Khulna University Vice-Chancellor Dr Md Rezaul Karim has directed authorities to take necessary steps to improve the quality of medical services at the university’s Medical Center.
On Tuesday the Vice-Chancellor visited the Medical Center and inspected its overall activities.
During the visit, he observed various service units, including doctors’ rooms, the nursing section, pathology, X-ray room, and eye department. He also spoke with officials concerned to assess the quality of services and identify existing limitation
Emphasizing the need for improved healthcare, Vice-Chancellor instructed authorities to quickly implement necessary facilities to ensure proper medical services for students. He also highlighted the importance of adding modern medical equipment as require.
The Vice-Chancellor stressed the need to ensure the availability of essential medicines for students at the Medical Center.
He also instructed maintaining a separate database for different types of medical tests conducted at the center. In addition, he encouraged authorities to explore the possibility of introducing new services and facilities to better meet the healthcare needs of students.
