Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury on Sunday said the Land Ministry has been recognized by the UN Public Service award 2020 for implementing e-mutation due to the strong leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The minister came up with the remarks over getting the award at the Secretariat.
Land Ministry service was digitalized for making Digital Bangladesh as per the dream of Prime Minister's ICT Affairs Adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy, with the aim of implementing the perspective plans of 2021 and 2041, he said.
“United Nations Public Service Award is an unanimous achievement for all under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,” the minister said.
The Ministry of Land of Bangladesh was awarded by the United Nations the prestigious ‘United Nations Public Service Award’ for 2020 on June 5.
The award was given in the category of “Developing transparent and accountable public institutions” in recognition of the “E-Mutation” initiative.
