Concerned project director informed Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury about the development when he was inspecting the progress work of the ‘Land Building Complex’ at Tejgaon on Wednesday.
The building is being constructed jointly by Public Works Department and Survey Directorate.
Land Minister Chowdhury said the ongoing land service programme would be further geared up after implementation of the ‘One Stop Service’, said a PID handout.
He announced a mural of Bangabandhu will be installed at the Land Building paying tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman marking the ‘Mujib Borsho’.
There will be over 31,000 square metres of space in the building. It is being constructed at a cost of Tk 106 crore. There will also be car parking facilities for 130 vehicles.
